The Brief:

Coming to us as Jones Lambell LLP Architects, this well established architecture firm had an excellent reputation and a strong portfolio of projects. With a change in senior management they wanted a rebrand to signify a step change at the studio and launch a proactive digital marketing strategy which would embrace a new era for the Studio.


What we did:

Bespoke ‘Reset’ marketing session

  • With little knowledge of marketing and with two strands to the brief - rebrand and then proactive marketing - we ran a bespoke reset marketing strategy session which covered:

    • New name - suggestions to rename the studio including research into copyright and domain availability.

    • Rebrand - three options including new logos, colour palettes, fonts and alternates. 

    • Brand messaging - topline messaging and TOV developed to help inform all marketing and comms channels going forwards.

    • SEO audit - competitors, keyword and content audit and recommendations.

    • Social media audit - top line strategy to reset and proactively use social media to further amplify the brand including content pillars and templates.

    • Website audit - wireframes, design and content recommendations to develop a brand new website for the studio on Squarespace.

    With our strategy set and one-to-one feedback from JLE Studio’s lead partners we then took our findings and recommendations and put them into action.

Reset in action:

  • Brand messaging framework - developed and worked up into new website copy. 

  • Branding - refined and developed into brand guidelines, website assets and office branding - vinyls, business cards, presentations, email signatures and branded tote bags. 

  • Studio photography - briefed and organised to capture the team and studio in action.

  • Squarespace website build out - template built, branding applied, copy written, SEO implemented and blog live. 

  • Partner outreach - updating key partners on the rebrand and including them with quotes and Google reviews as the new brand went live.

  • Content strategy - research into key audience profiles and search intent online and SEO used to develop a content strategy for JLE Studios.

  • Marketing & PR planner - development of a 12 month marketing plan with content for each month, key project milestones and SEO and content audits.

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) set-up -  with new analytics and dashboards coming into force from Summer 2023 we future proofed the new website by setting it up for GA4 to track all traffic, leads and interactions with the site.

  • Blog post creation - research, development and publication of two blog posts a month to create new content for the website.

The Results:

  • New branding live - the new branding is now live from email signatures and letter heads through to tote bags and studio vinyls. 

  • New website - the new Squarespace website is live and represents the new studio in much more depth than before, delivers more information and project details for prospective clients and is technically and SEO sound on both desktop and mobile.

  • Partner outreach - a key part of the rebrand was communication and involvement with key stakeholders including suppliers and clients. The rebrand was communicated over email and key partners were invited to contribute to the new website with profiles of their businesses and reciprocal google reviews.

  • Involving the studio - all of the team were also involved in the rebranding process from feedback on the branding, to new studio photos and members of the team contributing and taking part in blog posts on the website.

Once the rebrand settles in we’ll be working with JLE Studios on a proactive marketing campaign to generate new enquiries for the studio this will include a 12 month proactive marketing plan covering:

  • Social media activation

  • SEO audits

  • Develop of relevant website landing pages

  • Digital PR

  • PPC
