The Brief:

Provide ongoing strategic and tactical marketing support to the in-house marketing team including recruitment counsel for an internal PR hire and a focus on refining their press and influencer outreach ready for a new product launch. 

What we did:

  • Acted as a plug-in Marketing and PR consultant providing high level marketing consultation and monthly marketing strategy sessions for the in-house marketing team

  • Reported directly to the Head of Global Brand, Marketing and Ecommerce.

  • Redefined the brands target audience to refocus their proactive marketing plan

  • Improved copy and tone of voice across PR and marketing materials

  • Created and activated an influencer ambassador program.

  • Built out formats and ideas for ongoing press and influencer events to support the launch of feel good teas.

  • Gave a fresh perspective on structure and processes.

  • Provided recommendations to restructure the team to deliver against both short and long term marketing goals.

  • Advised on recruitment and job description for an in-house PR Manager.

  • Facilitated creative marketing brainstorming sessions and on the job training to develop the team's understanding and delivery of PR and influencer marketing.

The Results:

  • Consultation at its finest and an impactful and cost-efficient way to better structure an internal marketing team, provide them with missing resources and fill in the gaps whilst delivering on strategy, training and solidifying their PR and influencer strategy.

  • Improved and more impactful messaging and audience profiling.

  • PR, media relations and influencer ambassador program and processes in place and delivering against sales targets.

  • New PR Manager in position.
