We're hiring: SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
6-month fixed-term contract, with the aim of a permanent role beyond that · £35-42K a year DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
Start: January/February 2027, flexible for the right person
Days: 4 or 5 days a week, your call
Where: Hybrid. One day a week in person with Jess, at the office or out on location. The rest is up to you.
We’re looking for our first in-house social hire, and we want a maker, not a scheduler. Someone who can walk into a showroom, a renovation or a finished home and come out with content people stop scrolling for.
You’ll shoot, edit and publish for brands across homes, interiors, property and architecture, working alongside our collective of senior strategists, designers and content creators. Admin support handles the scheduling, so your time goes on the work you’re best at.
This is a new role, which means you’ll help shape it, from how we work to who joins the content team next. If you love interiors, know what’s landing on social this week, and want something built for you and by you, we’d love to see your work.
Skip the cover letter. Show us your work instead.
Send us three pieces of content you created that performed well. For each one, tell us:
The why. What was the brief, and why did this piece get made?
The what. What did you personally do: idea, shoot, edit, copy, all of it?
The result. How did it perform, and why do you think it worked? Numbers welcome.
A few lines per piece is plenty. If the work is confidential, tell us about it without naming the client. Add a link to your CV or LinkedIn, your salary expectations and when you could start.
Email your application to contact@thedoers.co.uk or hit the link below, with the subject line “Social media manager – [your name]” by the end of November 2026. We’re reviewing applications as they come in, so apply early. We’ll reply to everyone.
We only accept applications by email, not by DM. Questions? Send them to the same address.
Please note: email is the only way to apply for this role — we won't be accepting applications via DM or any other channel. It's the fairest way for us to give everyone proper consideration, and it helps us keep things manageable at our end. If you have a specific question before applying, you're welcome to drop us a line at contact@thedoers.co.uk.
