Ben Hayes

head of words

The one who does the words.

Ben Hayes uses words to bring a brand’s ethos, point of difference, and offering to life. It’s clear strategy dressed up in creative copywriting. We’re currently in an era of bland, abstract, repetitive, obvious and awkward AI-produced paragraphs. They lack big-picture context, a logical structure, and a consistent message that continually reinforces a brand’s position and proposition. Ben combats that in four ways: brand documents, messaging frameworks, verbal identity guidelines, and ongoing campaigns.

This covers all aspects of what a brand might need to communicate, whether you’re talking to investors, employees, partners or consumers.Ben works predominantly in the hospitality, real estate, and CPG sectors. On the side, he runs Eat My Words - the world’s only food-music-comedy newsletter - and has a love for Italy that’s only limited by Europe’s 90-day visa rule.
