The Nationwide Stay At Home Sleepout

We’ve got a challenge for you: give up your bed for a night and raise money for those who don’t have one.

So many things have been affected by the lockdown, as everyone adapts to working from home our working lives have changed, probably forever. Events have been cancelled left, right and centre, shops are closed and people are quickly adapting their businesses in so many ways. The charity sector has taken a huge hit from the lockdown with fundraising events cancelled taking a huge toll on the people who need them most.

We worked with CEO Sleepout last year to help spread the word in the London business community, tighten their email communications and make more impact on social media. When all of their planned fundraising events, including Sleepouts all over the country, were cancelled, they thought on their feet. CEO Sleepout have used lockdown as an opportunity to hold a nationwide ‘Stay at Home Sleepout’ to raise much needed funds for people who are suffering without the warmth and safety of a roof over their heads.

So we’re challenging YOU to take part! Give up your bed for one night on June 1st and raise money for people who don’t have one - simple!

We’re challenging YOU to raise £100 for homeless charities across the UK by joining the #StayAtHomeSleepout. All you have to do is bed down for one night only,  on the floor of your home or in your garden on June 1 and raise as much as you can for doing it.

Lockdown has been hard for all of us. But imagine if you had no home, no bed, no food and nowhere you felt safe.  Coronavirus has hit the homeless hard and has driven more people to the streets as they’ve lost their jobs, can’t pay their rent and have struggled to feed their families. Some have been able to make use of empty hotel rooms, but when lockdown ends, they’ll be back on the streets. They need YOUR help.

We’re challenging YOU to raise £100 for homeless charities across the UK by joining the #StayAtHomeSleepout. All you have to do is bed down for one night only,  on the floor of your home or in your garden on June 1, 2020 and raise as much as you can for doing it. Simple!

As the UK heads into an economic downturn, we need to make sure everyone has a roof over their heads. The money you raise will go directly to support the homeless, the hungry and the forgotten across the UK. Your £100 will support vital charities for people facing constant pressure and being pushed into poverty and homelessness.

One of the most incredible things about the coronavirus lockdown is seeing just how much people are willing to help others. It was devastating for us to have to cancel all of our usual CEO Sleepout events, especially at this time, when the charities we work with and the people they serve need our help more than ever. But I wanted to find a way to raise much-needed funds to help those who, under constant pressure, have been pushed into destitution because of the current crisis.
